deputy Head Boy, which meant I was involved in organizing school events and

also my peers as well as public speaking. I was also a captain of several

sporting teams.

Gap Year - January to June 2005

After leaving Abbey Gate College at the age of 18 I deferred my place at

Oxford Brookes University so I could travel to South Africa to volunteer at

a Mission School called Tiger Kloof. I self-funded the trip by working at a

supermarket for four months, my tasks were to restock shelves, help and

advise customers and basic administration work. Living and working in South

Africa was an amazing experience, which gave me the opportunity to

experience a different culture and taught me how to integrate into a

different way of life. This required initiative, dedication and discipline.

management.
