SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Launched marketing campaign to build sales. Everything was in place for DS’ success, but revenues were lower than expected.

Implemented a marketing plan that received national attention, and included ads in prominent, high-end publications, and signage in

key locations, etc. Doubled memberships and sales of specialized services.

Built sales through creative tactics . Following DS’ launch, marketing campaigns needed to be developed to sustain business.

Forged relations with production companies to develop business with local, national and international celebrities. Generated media

coverage in national publications and helped grow memberships.

Boosted sales with seminars. XS’ business expectedly dropped during Miami’s offseason and sales team lacked motivation.

Presented monthly seminars on four ingredients of every sale, how to influence prospects to buy what you are selling and using the

AIDA technique. Sold more in week after first seminar than entire previous month.

Earned sales by walking the walk. Learned that XS Fitness was opening nearby and approached GM about sales manager

position. Told that he would only hire those with a member following. A sked GM for 50 blank contracts. Sold 50 pre-opening

contracts in first week and 136 in two weeks. Secured Sales Manager position.

CAREER HISTORY

Business Developer / Consultant & Project Director, 2009 to Present. Deliver turnkey consultation services to multiple ownership

groups for up-scale / luxury fitness and spa facilities. Manage full lifecycle of projects, including equipment selection, layout,

installation and business operational systems.

VP of Sales, DS Fitness, 1998 to 2008. Led team of 30+ through hands-on approach, overseeing business development, and all

aspects of sales and marketing, including website creation. Directed strategic planning, combining entrepreneurial vision and

business acumen to establish and grow this high-end fitness center.

Sales Manager, XS Fitness, 1995 to 1998. Oversaw membership and sales management, and creation / supervision of fitness

program. Managed 21 employees, including sales staff, implementing consultative selling and client relationship management

techniques to maximize sales and retention for this growing business.
