Personal Profile:

I am a 2011 graduate from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. I

am extremely effective at problem solving and this effectiveness is heightened when placed in a team

environment. Working with my peers, I am able to convert the ideas and findings of the team into a clear and

understandable presentation to display to other workers. I listen well to others and learn fast on my feet.

Throwing me into an unknown environment makes me excited to learn not nervous to fail.

Education:

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University

Honors:

• Winner of the Senior Design Project competition

• Member of the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science Circle of Honors

Experience/Engineering Work:

• The Senior Design Project (mentioned above) involved the design of a Gas-to-Liquid Plant that

converted gases in the intake to liquid fuel in the exit streams.

• Determined identity of an unknown gas using a Kundt’s tube and the measurements of the wavelengths

• Worked with graduate students to analyze the viscoelastic properties of worm-like micelles using a

rheometer and an electron microscope

• Used ion-exchange apparatus to removes calcium ions and other particles in order to change “hard”

water to “soft” water.

• Designed distillation column to perform at optimum efficiency by maintaining low costs and high profit.

• Analyzed the properties of reverse osmosis in sea water desalination. Compared this process to others

involved in water purification.

• Important and unique courses that were taken during the duration of my undergraduate career included:
