Professional Qualifications
MSCE in Structural Engineering. Recent experience in structural design for
the Westinghouse AP1000 Nuclear Plant, NRC Seismic Category II and III
buildings, in compliance with ASCE4-05, AISC N690-04, AISC 341-05, ACI 349-
01. Worked with PR Building Code, South Florida Building Code, UBC-97, IBC-
06, ASCE7-05, ACI 318-05, AISC 13th Edition, ASTM, for the structural
design of transportation, residential, commercial, industrial and power
steel and concrete low profile and multistory buildings, bridges and other
special projects. Programming skills for the development of structural
design templates in GWBasic, Excel, MathCad, and user skills with
structural analysis and design software such as GTStrudl, SAP, RAM, ETABS,
ELM, and others. Participation in all design-build range: preparation of
design proposals, budgeting, scheduling, coordination of design team,
interdisciplinary relation, loading, modeling and design calculations and
reviewing, detailing and coordination with drafters, peer-reviewing and
submitting for approval and permitting, bidding assistance, construction
meetings and supervision of all structural appurtenances.
