I began a career in the supply chain industry in 1991 and have

experience in areas of sales and business integration, manufacturing

and distribution management, project management, logistics analyst,

and information technology. I have a passion for leading and working

with others in implementation and integration projects, continuous

improvement initiatives and supply chain system implementations

involving sales, operations, transportation, and IT. A few examples

of my experience are on-boarding efforts for new customers' business

integration, Executive Management, leading large capital investments

such as WMS implementations and large system modifications,

implementing Sortation and conveyor control systems, installing

multilevel picking modules, Pick to Light systems, and other supply

Leading a project to replace current WMS/TMS systems - a multiple site

implementation team for North America. Project began in 2009 and

expected completion is 2012 - fourth site in process.

New distribution facility start-up in Toronto, Canada - Six month

project that went live in July 2010

projects. The warehouse is 1.3 million sq. ft. Midwest Distribution

Center for Sony DADC, Sony Pictures, Sony/BMG Music, Sony PlayStation

and other third party companies.

Led many WMS related implementation projects including Picking

Modules, Pick To Light, Sortation equipment, Conveyor systems, Print

and Apply Shipping systems and other Continuous Improvement

initiatives.

Green Belt in Six Sigma - led a shipping carton reduction project to

save $500K a year.

Fresno, CA

Project management which included installation of in-line automatic

shipping label conveyor lines with verification stations to increase

shipping label capacity and improve efficiency.

Led a national training effort to prepare Operational personnel for

Sony Pictures new business in 2004.

On-Site systems administrator support, writing and testing

modifications, and continuous improvements to warehouse operations and

supply chain systems.

System Administrator providing IT and operational support for 200,000

sq. ft West Coast Distribution Center for Sony Playstation, Sony

Pictures, and Sony Music.

Project management which included installation of a high speed

sortation system for entertainment media such as CD's, DVD's, and VHS

products.

PepsiCo / AmeriServe Food Distribution

AmeriServe / Charlotte Distribution Center

Charlotte, NC

Distribution center for Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell for the

Southeast. Operation consisted of two ten hour shifts, seven days a

week, temperature controlled cold storage, and a private fleet of 46

trailers.

Responsibilities included warehouse operations and reporting of key

performance indicators to the Group President of six centers.

Instituted a training program for new hires, developed spreadsheets to

track key performance measures on employees, instituted monthly

evaluations, and initiated two incentive programs which helped improve

our center from the bottom to the top third in the country.

Successful start-up of a 500,000 sq. ft. warehouse operation in July,

1996

Operations Manager leading 15 supervisors and 205 employees.

Operation consists of Domestic and Export distribution in a high-cube

state of the art facility; temperature controlled cold storage,

advanced radio frequency location system, private transportation fleet

with auto-load trailers.

Responsible for overall warehouse operations to include planning,

purchasing, budgeting, maintenance, safety, security, and extensive

reporting.

Successful start-up of a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse operation in

December, 1994.

Two person management team for the first North Carolina off-site

planning, hiring, training, purchasing, safety coordinator, and

extensive reporting.

Successful start-up of a 250,000 sq. ft. warehouse operation in

February, 1994. Operation included warehousing, assorting, pre-

ticketing, kitting, and quality inspecting of Haines products.

Developed and implemented organizational and operational procedures

for 80+ employees. Operation consisted of 1800+ SKU's, a variety of

material handling equipment, and seasonal demands requiring many

temporary employees for Kit builds, reworks, and breakdowns.

Responsibilities included hiring, training, purchasing, safety

coordinator, and day shift warehouse operations.

DSC Logistics / Philip Morris Domestic Bonded Warehouse

Richmond, VA

Warehouse consisted of a 150,000 sq. ft. distribution center and two

shifts operation.

Responsibilities included night shift supervision and Ops Project

Leader to train and develop processes and procedures in the area of

safety, forklift training, and overall operations to all employees.

Cross-trained with Philip Morris to develop a growing partnership

between companies.

Warehouse consisted of 550,000 sq. ft. for 80+ accounts that included

a Customer Service call center, a transportation department and

warehouse operations.

Completed a six month Management Trainee Program that included various

assignments in Customer Service, Transportation, and DC Operations.

Operations Supervisor for 16 employees in temperature controlled

warehouse - 200,000 sq. ft. Responsible for many food grade accounts

such as ADM, Borden, Brown and Williamson, Ghiradelli, M&M Mars,

Nestle, Philip Morris, and RJ Reynolds.
