Resources function for this 654-room hotel with 51,000 square feet of
meeting space and 400 employees, located in the Disneyland Resort
District.
. Completed short and long term strategic planning for the HR department,
in the areas of workforce planning, affirmative action planning,
recruiting and staffing, wage and salary administration, benefits,
employee relations, training and development, and coaching and counseling
of employees with a focus on increasing employee engagement. As a
result, the hotel operation met financial goals while increasing customer
service levels and maintaining a high level of employee morale and a non-
union environment.
. Served as the Pilot location for launch of a new company-wide Workforce
Management System (WMS) - "Work Brain" time and attendance system,
utilizing new biometric time clocks. Assisted in creating the system,
which increased efficiencies in scheduling, timekeeping and benefits
processing and record keeping for the entire Company.

. I was chosen as the Pilot location for roll out of ADP Enterprise, a new
company-wide HRIS system. This resulted in improved use of technology
for employee record keeping and payroll processing for all North America
Hyatt properties.
. My role as a Taleo Coach and Trainer upon rollout of this new on-line
application system, improved our recruiting and selection process and
achieved increased accuracy of applicant tracking for Affirmative Action
reporting.
