OBJECTIVE AND MISSION
To obtain a developing position allowing me to utilize my leadership experience and
background to create dynamic success for both the company and myself. Currently I
work with private investments, funding for unique projects across the country for start-
up businesses. My projects recently have varied from proprietary trading, to renewable
energy, real estate development and Oil & Gas technology. I am looking to enhance my
own development and redirect my career in the Oil and Gas Industry, reconnecting to an
area I have neglected since college.
EXPERIENCE
President/Owner 1995-2009
Big Country Construction Inc. Sedalia, Colorado (Denver area)
As president and owner, I was also the general contractor and developer, project
manager and in charge of brand development and marketing. I retained all certification
and licensing for BCCI in Douglas county and surrounding areas.
I managed more than 14 crews at one time while working through the phases of
planning, engineering, road integration, excavation, foundation, erection, selling and
marketing. BCCI did everything from the ground up to completion, including full-scale
development, architecture and design. We developed everything from complete
remodels and teardowns to building large custom luxury residential homes at $1 million
or more. BCCI had the largest designer basement division in the gated community
Castle Pines over a 5-year period. In this community, BCCI developed and designed
over 48 basements with projects costing from $280.00 to $360.00 per sq ft. On creative
side projects, BCCI designed and handcrafted a 6000 bottle wine cellar of stained
redwood and mahogany for the owner of Silver Oaks Wine Cellar. At the commercial
level, BCCI worked with dental offices integrating new state of the art equipment and
technologies. With Kinko’s Corporation, our projects required remodeling and
expanding their business entities in the Denver area.
Certified Mortgage Banker 2001-2008
Paramount Home Loans Denver, Colorado
Having been educated in lending software and online entry I handled everything from
lead generation to appraisals, loan modifications, loan application packaging, credit
enhancement, loan processing, FHA, Fannie Mae, residential and commercial funding.
Mortgage banking is about creating relationships and I developed a reputation for
making the impossible possible!
President/Owner 1990-1995
Elmwood Burbank Corporation Carmel, California
Elmwood was a product development company specializing in soft goods from
inventive patented designs to commercial incentive products. I was responsible for all
aspects of business ownership including innovative design work and skills unique to
this industry such as registering design patents. I handled all negotiating agreements
with overseas entities and Mexican manufacturers as well as the shipping logistics and
port of entry taxation. Elmwood manufactured products such as Pac Sac Coolers (high-
end fashion neoprene tubed cooler), trendy computer bags and the first animal reflective
leashes and collars: Hero’s Pet Products . This company achieved over $1 million a
year in sales.
Project Manager 1982-1989
Thirty Three Hundred Corporation League City, Texas
I managed and developed a 90-unit marina subdivision project. I was involved in
planning, re-zoning, improving land appraisal, lending criteria, development and the
heavy equipment excavation. Due to flood plan regulations and tide levels, this project
was engineered completely on above ground caissons . As Project Manager, I
negotiated tap fees and developed agreements with local jurisdiction critical to create
future investments establishing the basis for the future development phases.
