Summary Of Experience
Thirty plus years of machine design and construction of
industrial machinery from a cost range of $ 2,500.00 to
1,500,000.00 which include automotive, rail, medical and
custom machines. Operations management, maintenance
supervision, plant layout process flow improvements,
machine analysis, preventive maintenance programs, EPA,
OSHA, and FDA procedures and guidelines. 5S for lean
manufacturing processes. CNC machine control and
maintenance certified. I also hold three US patents and one
international patent.
Work Experience
2009 - Present Return Distribution Specialist
A private owned company that recycles health care aerosols. My
position here is Plant Engineer responsible for the Design and Development
of machinery to process all types of aerosol. Designed and built the
aerosol recovery machine that captures the propellant and product and
separates the contents into different storage tankers for recycling. This
machine and process produces about 7,000 gallons weekly or 32,000 cans
daily.
2005- 2009 United Inventory Service
A private owned company that recycled plastic. Responsible for
the design and development of machinery to process plastic from 30hp to 300
hp Grinders. Chrome plated ABS pulverizing process with paper removal and
separation of different materials. Traveled internationally developing this
process. 1,300,000 Sq. ft. facility ( Electrical Fire Burned down entire
plant ). Laid Off
1991 - 2005 Young-Touchstone Radiator
A manufacture of radiators for locomotive engines. My position
was Manager of Machine Design Construction and Environmental. I was over
all of the plant layout equipment and design, process flow with equipment
evaluations and replacement inside and outside, Maintenance and
waste water treatment supervision. Worked directly for the plant Manger.
Developed custom machinery for there particular operation. Patten on 14
axis of motion tube rolling machine. Instrumental in process flow with
machine and layouts for better machine usage and production improvements.
( Opportunity to travel internationally with major salary increase )
1986 - 1991 Tabuchi Electric
A manufacture of power transformers for microwaves. Senior
maintenance tech. and building, equipment and product flow design.
( Plant Moved To Mexico ) did not want to relocate.
1983 - 1986 Facet Aerospace
A manufacturing facility that built carburetor for small
aircraft engines. Facility Engineer Responsible for Building, Machinery,
Tooling, and Some CNC programming and setup. Designed and built all
fixtures for these carburetors. ( Plant moved to Tulsa Oklahoma did not
relocate )
1979 - 1983 Quaker Oats
A manufacture of frozen Pizza. Worked in maintenance and when
plant had lay off got bumped back to production all shifts.
