maintenance to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. Utilized Microsoft Outlook

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Battalion Signal NCOIC August 2008 - Present
U.S. Army, Fort Hood, TX
Supervised, planned and executed the installation, operation and maintenance of signal support
systems in a digitized unit. Trained and managed 17 personnel in the employment and
maintenance of retransmission systems, tactical satellite systems and digital command and
control systems. Supervised the largest tactical network in the Brigade spanning over 14,000
square miles and 5 communication nodes encompassing over 400 users. Purchased a variety of
items for the military and maintained purchase records for auditing as a government purchase
card holder.
Instructor/Writer June 2005 - July 2008
U.S. Army, Fort Gordon, GA
Managed over 70 military instructors to include the tracking of their annual evaluations and
current training status as the Senior Instructor. Performed duties as the Assistant Branch NCO,
being responsible for training schedules, training records, class assignment and individual
counseling. Trained more than 1,200 personnel annually on military combat computer systems
and SINCGARS. Maintained assigned equipment valued in excess of $3 million dollars worth
of military equipment with no loss.

Supervised and trained 19 personnel in the use of all assigned equipment. Advised senior leaders
on all aspects of maintaining reliable and effective communications in a combat zone.
Maintained a 91% operational readiness rate of 133 combat systems and refitted a Tactical
Command Post with additional systems, improving command and control during combat.
Planned and supervised 13 successful communication retransmission missions that extended
command and control throughout 90 square kilometers of urban terrain.
Signal Support Systems Supervisor February 2002 - January 2003

Supervised and trained five personnel on the installation, operation and maintenance of signal
systems in a tank battalion. Motivated subordinates to take pride in their jobs and perform to
their full potential, allowing the unit to have the highest communications system operational
readiness rate in the brigade. Managed all communication parts orders and requests and
maximized resources which saved the unit $15 thousand dollars in a six month period.
