Supervise mental health department of two part time psychiat rists, four licensed
psychologists and one social services worker in the delivery of mental health services
to a county prison typically housing 1000 - 1300 inmates and having a seriously
mental ill roster of 80 inmates. Directly oversee 18 bed in-patient Mental Health
U nit. Mental Health Supervisor provides direct admission orders, mental health
evaluations and mental status evaluations; recommends/reviews prospective
medication changes; monitors and documents daily progress in computerized SOAP
notes; informs psychiatry of status changes for psychiatric intervention; determines
