Responsible for all distribution operations for a mid-sized book and
magazine publisher. Operations include receiving, storing, packaging, and
international and domestic shipping of more than 4 million units per year
in 36,000+ orders, representing yearly book sales of $25+ million; hiring,
training, development and disciplining of employees; negotiating and
contracting with suppliers and LTL trucking companies and UPS and FedEx;
magazine mailings; inventory control using Accellos WMS; budgeting for two
warehouses and payroll for up to 36 hourly employees and four supervisory
personnel; extensive reporting functions using MS Access and MS Excel; and
shipping, storage, and coordination of Trade Show materials. Responsible
for inclusion and correct preparation of shipping documents, international
customs forms and adherence of custom regulations, and postal documents.
Accountable and reports directly to CFO, who is also the corporate owner.
Reduced average shipping time from seven-ten days in 2005 to 95.64% of all
orders in 24 hours, 99.56% in 48 hours, and 99.96% in 72 hours. Reduced
error rate from over 2% to less than .004%. Warehouse personnel costs when
hired as manager were 7.36% of total revenue (68.1 cents per unit); as of
last report warehouse personnel costs were 2.77% (13.1 cents per unit).

Responsible for designing, repairing, modifying, testing, updating and
maintaining Access databases. Also responsible for many daily reports and
documents critical for day-to-day operations of the Ocoee Collections
Center. Assists supervisors in the formulation of new incentive tools

Petals, Inc. 2001-
2004
In charge of new company product line titled Buds and Blossoms.
Responsible for all aspects of operations, including receiving product,
location and inventory control, picking operations and shipping,
production, and training new employees. In addition, developed a simple
Access database for the Accessory Department, and continually assisted
senior management with problems regarding computer systems and various
aspects of Microsoft Office applications. Company ceased operations in
2004.

Walgreens, Inc.
Managed seven different departments of up to 64 employees and 2 foremen
picking up to 95K lines per day. Controlled as much as $78M of high value
and easily pilfered merchandise. Consistently ended the fiscal years under
budget, 2% under budget for the last fiscal year.
Departments included Rx Department, Receiving Department, and various Full-
case and Split-case Picking Departments. Duties included forecasting,

Center. Result: Increased department productivity by 4% in the 1st month.
Administered a $20M budget and $78M inventory by managing production,
quality control, inventory control, training, and administration. Result:
