PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE
I am an Executive Marketing and Advertising Sales Leader with a wealth of
experience (Comcast and AT&T), developing and executing go to market
strategies with geo-targeted internet solutions, interactive television
platforms, and mobile advertising products. We are in a new media
revolution in which our society is consuming advertising in a very personal
manner and Blue Calypso's "Calyp" enhances that consumption. I can execute
Blue Calypso's vision and "go to market" strategy in an efficient manner.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
October, 2010 - Present, Diamond Light LLC, President. I co-founded a
marketing and media services company that provides marketing plans,
consulting, contract sales management, leadership development, sales
training, and live event sports production. My client roster includes
Comcast, National Cable Communications, ViaMedia, Integrity Solutions LLC,
and Daily's Stores. I currently provide sales management services to New
Young Broadcasting's WKRN Channel 2 (ABC Affiliate); we have increased
television sales by 21%, internet sales by 475%, and Facebook/Twitter likes
by 800% over prior year.
May, 2001 - September, 2010. COMCAST.
Regional Vice President of Advertising Sales, South Central Region,
(Nashville, TN). I led a Region that included 8 states, 17 Market offices,
230 sales/sales support members, and $124 million in gross annual sales
($110 million net). I managed all facets of the business and 18 P&Ls.
Execution. Our Region exceeded revenue/cash flow budgets ten consecutive
years. We accomplished this through goal clarity, generating the activity
to achieve those goals, and coaching.
Profitability. Our Region generated in excess of $124 million in gross
revenue and a 68% margin. My region grew from $35 million to $124 million
in eight years.
Success. Our Region led Comcast in all major corporate revenue (advertising
revenue per home) and cash flow metrics for 9 consecutive years. My
Nashville market generated more advertising revenue than all the major
television affiliates in the market; this achievement is unmatched in the
industry.
Innovation. Our Region led the company in Internet, Interactive, Mobile and
Video-On-Demand sales with over $3 million, in 2010, on these lines of
business. We executed local go to market advertising strategies for
Xfinity.com, Vehix.com, MovingMetal.com, GetitNashville.com,
WorkNashville.com, and Fandango.com. We also executed Comcast's only
successful interactive television beta test in Huntsville, Alabama, with
partner Starcom. My region also launched the first mobile advertising
services with geo-targeted couponing.
Understanding Media and the Consumer. I have an in-depth understanding of
the strengths of all media to include television, radio, print, outdoor,
mobile, internet, and social media. I also have a profound understanding of
the consumer and the consumer buying cycle so you target them properly with
the correct message. I also know how to convert messaging to money by
activating the consumer.
Training. We developed a comprehensive training program "Integrated Sales
Training" by combining the Integrity Selling (needs-based selling) with
product training; the Region's digital/online sales in 2010 grew 200% due
to this program. Corporate adopted the program and rolled it out
nationally. I am certified in several Coaching and Sales Training programs.

Vice President and General Manager, 1999 - 2001 (Nashville). I led a sales
operation of 60 associates. Increased revenue from $12 million in 1999 to
$24 million in 2001. ATT Media GM of the Year in 2000.
Division Director of Sales, Eastern Division, 1996 - 1999 (Chicago). I led
Sales and Operations functions in our Eastern Division which had 32
markets, and 800 associates, and $350 million in revenue.
