Reduce Energy costs at National Guard facilities across the Commonwealth.
Participates in the design of maintenance, renovation and construction of
National Guard facilities to ensure maximum resource efficiency and
building practices. Performs review and design of existing and future real
property (facilities) systems to reduce energy consumption.

Professional Engineers and 80 skilled tradesmen (HVAC, Electrical,
Plumbing & Mechanics).
* Approve all personnel actions for the division such as promotions,
external recruiting / hiring, disciplinary actions, employee appraisals
and employee development training.
* Manage operational budget of $15 million annually. Establish the
priorities by which project funding is requested and allocated for
facility needs.
* Drive continuous improvement in processes through upgrading equipment,
improving sequence of operations and continuing education of staff.
* Oversee Contractors and bid process to continuously upgrade and renovate
mechanical services such as chillers, boilers, electrical services, HVAC
and plumbing in facilities.
