external research scientist by dispensing research grade compounds via an
electronic ordering system.
Maintaining, coordinating and dispensing investigative and research grade
compounds in High Throughput Screening and NMR Project complying GLP.
Creating High Throughput Screening sets by following the procedure from the
lab notebook. Each set has a unique list of compounds and is prepared by
dispensing, configuring, diluting and distributing the compounds according
to the screening group's requirements.
Responsible for keeping accurate records of all studies and for
documentation in R&D Laboratory Notebooks.
Accountable for completeness of the assigned lab work under minimal
supervision.
Organizing high scale compounds in special storage locations.
Troubleshooting and operating the robotic system, Tecan, and Sciclone Brand
Automated Pippetors.
Maintaining, updating, and securing access control information for

Worked under the supervision of Senior Chemists to provide NMR application
support chemists. Interpreting and running ID & 2D NMR on a-500, i-499,
j500, m300, up300, m300 and mr400 to provide service to our clients and
managing NMR data. Also, adding structures in the department's prediction
engine to increase reliability for clients.
Maintaining the state of the art instrumentation and troubleshooting NMR
automation.
Lab Assistant: Biophysics & Cardiology Lab at UIC

Following procedures to manage the cell dishes and research studies by
collecting and organizing data used for the study of cardiovascular
disease. Maintain the lab and make sure that it is stocked up with
necessary supplies and reagents.
