Migrated 32 million relationships from mainframe into UNIX based RMS
database well ahead of schedule by using the cache technology.
Developed a Java utility loader and a set of UNIX/LINUX script files
to ensure smooth loading. Added audit and auto reconciliation
processes between two systems by using crontab
Led the Relationship Management System (RMS) KeyRules project,
interacted with business units to gather and interpret requirements.
Wrote Software Requirement Specification (SRS) for entire RMS Suite
applications; created examples and proof of concepts to facilitate
design; led the development and deployment.
Created system architecture of RMS Metrics that involved in prototype,
design, writing Software Requirement Specification (SRS), development,
deployment, and production support. The system was a WebSphere based
Struts management and monitoring tool written in Java that including
facts loaders, summarizers, struts actions, and JSP web pages by using
data warehouse star schema and chart FX technologies. The system used
an advanced Java timer in WebSphere to control summarization in a
timely manner.
Designed system architecture of RMS Relationship Loader (RelLoader), a
J2EE WebSphere Java application, used a class factory to simplify
development, lightweight XML and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures for
performance. Added hundreds million relationships without any break
down and made the system much faster. Supported the application.
Evaluated Java stored procedure in Oracle.
Architected the RMSScheduler system, a timer application in WebSphere
and Oracle for automated database operations and system monitoring.
Supported the application.
Evaluated Security Socket Layer (SSL) for the West KM project.
Led the development for the XML Data Manager project, conceptualized
the prototype from newest technologies, such as SAX II, XSLT,
information pipeline, filter, telnet FTP streams, and SOAP Web
services, created framework, designed architecture and implemented the
system.
Participated in the Public Records Tools project, a Web based system
using Apache/Tomcat Web server with Java Servlets to access Oracle
database and manage multiple UNIX boxes. Used DOM methodology with
JavaScript and cascading style sheet (CSS) to make Web pages dynamic
and separate contents from styles. Designed entire project
architecture, developed time schedule, and mentored junior developers.
