Hired to become a level 3 conventional mortgage loan underwriter, with
expectations of continuing and be nominated to become an FHA/VA
underwriter, and reactivate my DE underwriting designation.
Review and underwrite conventional and VA mortgage loan files, to include
both manually underwritten files and automated approved files.
Interpret credit policy guidelines and procedures and apply them to
specific loan files to perfect them for marketability.
The issuing of approvals and declinations of submitted mortgage files in a
timely manner, following Bank of America policies and procedures.
Obtained SASE Conventional Level 3 underwriting authority and VA level 1
within timeframe given. I am now working towards obtaining FHA underwriting
authority. Once this is complete I will take necessary steps to re-
activate my DE authority.

underwriting guidelines, procedures and practices, to best advice the

Further my duties included being available for questions or concerns
with relation to not only the entire mortgage approval process from
acquiring the loan package through the process to closing, and funding
with complete and accurate information to guide them, but to be
knowledgeable of all policies, guidelines and procedures from Flagstar
Bank, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac guidelines as well as FHA and VA
