Manage each phase of the publication process for all proposals, engineering

development and test documentation. Track all revisions from initial draft

to final release to Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer.

Edit and revise documents according to company, customer, and FAA

requirements. Advise engineers in matters of format, style, and grammar.

Review each document for order, clarity, conciseness, style, format, and

terminology.

Provide monthly metrics to senior management. Attend all certification

meetings and contribute to each program schedule. Responsible for

streamlining process and procedures as required. Maintain a strong

relationship with each customer and the FAA.

Manage, mentor, and train a team of five Technical Writers at the Goodrich

India Design Center (IDC) in Bangalore. Lead monthly conference calls with

team members to discuss workload, deadlines, document escapes, and feedback

from engineering staff in Phoenix.

Complete rewrites based on red-lined pages provided by the product and

quality engineers and incorporate changes into a final PDF.

Track documents through each phase of the publication process utilizing the

Configuration Management System (PVCS Dimensions).
