medical product concept for VTech. The final two weeks of the course were spent in Hong Kong where team

Design Engineer/Lead In-House Designer:
-42 Sport Coupe Interior- Designed multiple interior floor plans and 3-D modeled final approved layout
and all components in Rhino (FRP parts, cabinetry, custom hardware, upholstery, etc.) Also in charge of interior
color/material selection. Worked closely with outside cabinet builder and in-house prototype shops to create a
world-class yacht interior. Major accomplishments include a great reduction in prototyping time by sending fully
developed 3-D cabinet models directly to Richardson Yacht Interiors reducing timely, hand-patterning of cabinets.
-2550 Cuddy- Designed cockpit layout, deck styling, and 3-D modeled all FRP components other than hull.
3-D modeled deck, engine hatch, v-berth interior hull liner, etc. Also responsible for interior layout, cabinetry,
and upholstery concepts. Boat received Trailer Boats Magazine’s Excellence in Design 2011 Award under the
Cruisers and Cuddies category.
-2012 Sportboat Dashboard- Headed this project to develop a luxury automotive-inspired helm console and
glovebox. The two separate modules are fit for use on 13 different decks (bowriders, cuddies, and deckboats
alike). The project scope included upgrading materials, mapping an intuitive control hierarchy, and a strict focus
on ergonomics, visibility and usability. Personally responsible for control hierarchy, sketches, scale models, 3-D
renderings, 2-D gauge and electronic panel drawings, and final 3-D tooling models.
-35 Sport Coupe- The first American enclosed coupe in its class. Responsibilities included all FRP part designs
other than the hull. 3-D modeled deck, engine hatch assembly, hardtop/sunroof assembly, misc. hatches, etc.)
Worked closely with numerous outside manufacturers to design custom parts including the windshield and other
miscellaneous hardware. Also responsible for cockpit upholstery, exterior paint schemes and interior colors and
materials.
-24 FasDeck- Designed cockpit layout, restyled and 3-D modeled new deck to maximize cockpit space and
better address the demands of the Regal deck boat customer. Designed and 3-D modeled all FRP deck
components: engine hatch, optional refreshment center, misc. hatches.

-27 FasDeck- Designed cockpit layout, restyled and 3-D modeled new deck to maximize cockpit space and
better address the demands of the Regal deck boat customer. Designed and 3-D modeled all FRP components:
engine hatch, optional refreshment center, misc. hatches.
-28 Express- To be the absolute best trailerable express cruiser on the market. Designed interior floor plan
and 3-D modeled entire interior layout and all components in Rhino (FRP parts, cabinetry, custom hardware,
upholstery, etc.) Also in charge of interior color/material selection, hull window styling, and helm console design.
-2010/11 Model Year- Worked closely with VP of engineering to identify opportunities and provide solutions
which would update the current product line to refresh the overall product appeal for the new model year.
Changes included designing more stylish and functional sportboat canvas, new sportboat upholstery schemes,
feature upgrades, and new yacht and express cruiser interior color/material schemes.
Design Technician/Documentation Lead: Responsible for documenting production assemblies and processes
for new vessels by supplying 2-D CAD drawings of: FRP lamination schedules, cabinet construction, hardware
installation, system layouts, and upholstery assemblies. Documents used for quality control and to faciliate the
transition of prototype boats into production-line vessels. Responsibilities also include managing all internal
documentation changes/updates and creating international certification documents. (Regal is an ISO 9001:2000
certified company)
WaterMarque Marine Miami, FL March 08 - Present
Freelance Designer: Developed cutting-edge concepts for commercial vessels including a water taxi and
patrol boat. Rapid sketching, 3-D modeling, and rendering used to visualize exterior styling and interior layout.
