Event Planning/Administrative Experience

• In the summer of 2003, I assisted my father in opening his brand new company for children. With our

leadership, we approached difficult projects and tasks taking the initiative to create maximum results.

Our main focus: all aspects of business operations including inventory control, bookkeeping, price

determination and marketing.

• When I returned from college in 2007, I decided to take design to the next level and get a summer job

with “Weddings By Design.” With this company, I designed and planned 24 successful weddings. This

began with an initial Consultation, establishing a budget and priorities, creating and Coordinating all

visual amenities/decor for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception site.

• After Graduating from the Art Institute and interning with FRCH Design Worldwide, I decided to work

for Macy’s as their Wedding Consultant. Through this experience, I coordinated personal consultations

with each bride to plan their wedding registry. I was awarded a national gold star for outstanding

customer service and highest level of results on my scorecard.

• In 2009, I worked part-time as an Event Planner for 4 local restaurants that were connected by 3 owners.

Through this experience, I was held accountable for all event planning, budgeting, and designing the

events through creative driven concepts. I was also responsible for all marketing, social media, and

holding accounts with the Enquirer, Cin Weekly, Cincinnati Magazine, and many others.

• This year, I was employed by Designer Corwyn Thomas and his business partner Kwame Jackson from

season one of “The Apprentice” to manage all social media projects and direct all events related to the

two popular name brands. Through this success, sales increased by 43% since my employment in

January.
