with Aircraft Arresting Barriers. Checked equipment for serviceability prior to installation and
installed equipment such as gasoline, diesel, turbine, and arresting engines, generators, and
switchgear for compliance with technical publications, maintenance policies, and directives.
Operated equipment and observed, interpreted instruments and gauges for operating condition.
Was instrumental in making adjustments to operating equipment, both manual and remote High
Voltage Generator circuits and distribution system controls. Identified and recorded engine and
generator malfunctions and troubleshot and repaired defective power generating components.
Used the latest "state of the art" test equipment in determining operational readiness of electrical
power production equipment. Determined extent of repair and performed overhaul as required.
Interpreted maintenance malfunction data and electrical wiring diagrams relative to electrical
