Responsibilities:

Benefits Admin: Enter New Hire Employees Insurance, process open enrollment changes. Calculate monies owed or refundable.

Correspond with Employee and vendor. Process spreadsheets.

Annual Dependent audit accounting for eligible dependents Process correspondence to approximately 17,000 employees who

:

have dependent coverage on their benefits, confirm receipt of proof that dependent is eligible. At end of audit, inform employees

whose dependents will be dropped due to non compliance, drop these dependents from insurance. Reinstate dependents throughout

the years as they may become eligible. Calculate and deduct any premiums that may be past due. Process spreadsheets.

Company Stock Administrator: Daily import/Export and DWAC of Company stock sales/trades. Maintain Company stock

database with Managerial Employees’ approval to receive sell or trade. Correspond with Broker as needed to resolve issues. Inform

grantees whenever they are vested, or are about to have shares expire. Process spreadsheets.

401k Admin: enter and maintain 401k changes, loans, updates in time to meet weekly Payroll. Complete various reports and new

set ups. This is done for Stateside as well as Puerto Rico.

Court Ordered Insurance Admin: Determine if Court Order can be applied, answer to the court, set up any applicable coverage(s).

Spousal Waiver Auditor: Maintain list of spousal waiver receipts and lists, issue refunds and catch ups when necessary. Process

spreadsheets.

Life Insurance Admin: Correspond with family members, process life insurance claims with Insurance Company, Process

spreadsheets.

Projects Coordinator: Fulfill any other projects in a timely manner.

HR Admin: Enter New Hires, validate new hire paperwork for compliance, etc… Make all changes for Home Office employees.

Key Results:

Played a key role in implementing the initial annual dependent audit and took over this responsibility. As a result

of this in house audit, the company saved thousands of dollars not only by handling in house, but by reducing

benefits costs through meticulous recordkeeping and ensuring that company did not pay for benefits for which

employees dependents were ineligible. This ultimate saved an untold amount for future claims.

Reached out to train employees on the importance of saving for retirement through the company 401(k) plan,

also saving the company money, as well as helping to ensure this plan was not top heavy.

I came up with a process for court ordered insurance to ensure that we were on time and in compliance with the

courts.

I played a key role in maintaining a working relationship with outside brokers and vendors to maintain a

workable database and process for our company employee stock recipients.

I was able to tackle the delicate issue of speaking and corresponding with deceased spouses and other family

members as I handled their life claims.

I set up the Lawson payroll system to calculate correctly on payroll garnishments such as child support, student

loans and IRS levies.

I was responsible for making sure that the paperwork on new hires was up to date and current.

Other Accomplishments were various reporting and processing of benefits and to deliver department mail, while

prioritizing and organizing other duties in a timely manner.
