SKILLS

Organized, punctual, computer literate on both Mac and PC. Fluent in American Sign Langauge, creative,

hard-working, dedicated, and motivated to be great. Photoshop was learned as a hobby and used to create

small projects as well as pictures on my personal blog.

September 2006- May 2008 Delta Zeta, Pi Gamma Chapter, CSU Northridge

I helped to plan and decorate for recruitment, retreats, philanthropy events (fundraising and

sponsorships), as well as sorority formals and exchanges.

January- February 2010 Agape Planning

I worked weddings at the Nixon Library under Ashley Powell. I got to assist in the day of

coordination of both a chinese-american wedding, as well as an Indian (Buddhist) wedding. Most valuable

experience as of yet, as I met some local vendors and learned the ins and outs to day of coordination and

sticking to a strict timeline of events.

EMPLOYMENT

December 2010- present Paige Ashlyn Weddings

I am an assistant to Paige, so I help to execute the day of wedding coordination. I also get to assist

with the planning of details throughout the planning process with the clients. I assisted to prep for a

wedding show January 16th and keep everything organized. I also will am in charge of keeping her

blog updated.

October 2010- February 2011 Junior Varsity Girls Water Polo Coach, Mission Viejo High School ($2,000 for

the season)

December 2009- April 2010 Babysitter for two girls/ Dog sitter/ walker ($14/ hour)

In Laguna beach. Cared for the girls, prepared meals, and took to activities. Also assisted the mother

in various tasks in their home office (including arts and craft projects as well as organization of the

family areas and office) and cared for the family dog.

August 2009-December 2009 Babysitter for Infant girl ($15/hour)

I started watching this baby when she was 2 months old a few days a week, just to give mom a break

to go to the gym and just get errands done. I still will watch her on occasion, so that the parents can

enjoy a date night. This job required my knowledge of American Sign Language as the mother is

deaf and they want their daughter exposed to both the hearing and deaf worlds.

September 2009-June 2009 Nanny for family with girls ($12 for 1 child/ $17 for both/ hour)

I cared for two girls, one toddler and one infant. I was responsible for keeping them on their

schedule, feeding, and laundry.

February 2008- October 2009 Nanny for family with two boys. ($13/ hour + $25 gas weekly)

I cared for two children. It was my responsibility for picking up from school, preparing meals,

keeping everything neat and organized, and entertaining the children.

October 2006- May 2007 Behavior Intervention Instructor, LOVAAS ($10.25/ hour)

I worked with children diagnosed with autism, performing specialized programs designed to teach

the child the skills needed to interact with the world in which they live. I took detailed data daily. I

also completed filing and computer data entry using a MAC based computer and Excel.

August 2004- October 2006 Kids Club Supervisor, 24 Hour Fitness

I was a team member in the kids club area of 24 hour fitness. It is my responsibility

to provide and safe and fun area for the children to play in while their parents

exercise in the gym. I have First Aide and CPR (for the professional rescuer for

infant, child, and adults). I also ensured that all of the children would be safe in the Kids Club

facility.

June 2005- August 2005 Anteater Recreation Center, University of California, Irvine

I provided private swim lessons to children through the UCI recreation program. I taught the

fundamentals of swimming, as well as basic water rescue skills.

April 2004-July 2005 Head Swim Instructor, Shoreline Recreation

I was a swim instructor. I helped children in the step-by-step process of learning the

basic swim strokes and safety skills. I obtained my Water Safety Instructor certificate to become a

better instructor. I also gained experience with teaching swim lessons to autistic and other disabled

children.
