Plan and scope Kaizen events aligned with multi-plant Key Business

Objectives (KBOs) to meet organizational goals and objectives. Audit and

coach at each site on Kaizen improvements to maintain implementation and

sustainment and report to local and divisional steering committees.

Achievements:

. Implemented a robust 5S program that meets FDA guidelines for

cleanliness in a medical device-manufacturing environment

(Kaizen).

. Re-vamped Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process to

achieve $60,000 (annually) savings by exercising vendor warranty

before expiration (Kaizen)

. Achieved thirty (30) percent productivity improvement on

manufacturing filling line (ATS) (Kaizen).

Sealy Mattress Company-Trinity, NC Sept. 2005 to May 2008

Regional Continuous Improvement Manager:

Managed all Continuous Improvement activities across Sealy's Western Region

(five plants in four states). Developed and executed the C.I plan tied to

the region's Policy Deployment. Semi-annually, reported at the Corporate

level on implementation and sustainment progress.
