Kearl Oil Sands Project - Tank farms trouble shooting fixes, isometric

extraction deliverables, iso-tracker,

other layout changes, vendor changes, using NavisWorks. L.P. steam

condensate with a super trap plus a number of smaller strainer-traps and

seal pots, trunnions, vendor connections at nozzles, tie-ins, corrections

dealing with certified vendor information. Using RDB / clasher to clear

items in conflict.

Midwest Lysine Project-Ammonia sulfate, dextrose, and critic acid solution,

seed fermentation, corn

steep liquid, evaporation-ammonia exchanger, waste disposal, product

handling and storage.

Bath Iron Works, Brunswick, Maine 2/2010 to 6/2010

Rearranged the X,Y,Z coordinate system on sloped drainage runs, deck drains

within peripheral vertical launch systems, and fan coolers. In addition,

prepared other engineering change orders and supports and proper clearances

of 25.4mm.

Technip USA Corporation, Houston, Texas 8/2007 to 4/2009

Developed layouts for the Vent Gas Compressor project which included

absorber towers, K.O. drums and transfer pumps, pipe rack areas,

platforms, nitrogen, flares, sour gas, and H2/H2S for the client Flare Gas

Handling, Beaumont, Texas (2 projects). Acted as the lead for SmartPlant

review meetings with designers, process engineers then the client for the

30, 60, 90% reviews. (ExxonMobil)

Bechtel Corporation, Houston, Texas 2/2007 to 7/2007

Utilized PDS to prepare drawings for the Coker Gas Plant which included

absorber towers, rich amine flash drums and transfer pumps, water wash

coalescar drums and pumps, flare K.O. drums and pumps, blowdown quench

towers, and heavy slop oil recycle pumps and strainers.

Foster Wheeler, Houston, Texas 7/2006 to 2/2007

Acted in designing plots for the Coker Gas Plant - This entailed

hydrocarbons, cracker, absorber/stripper towers, pumps, heat-exchangers,

platforms, bracket & trunnion supports,

on towers, utility stations, equipment models, and batch files for

isometric generated drawings.

Worley Parsons, Arcadia, California 1/2005 to 5/2006

Developed plans for the Horizon Oil Sands Refinery which included the

following: Equipment modular components, tail gas, flash flare gas,

natural gas, nitrogen, K.O. drums, amine sour water tank systems,

absorbers, and filters; also, a number of other items such as platforms,

ladders, structures, valves, equipment separations, pipe rack tie-in's, and

ISO extractions.

10/2004 to 12/2004

Reworked, updated and incorporated changes to a power plant (within the

engineering workload) in order to bring the units up to the maintenance

level per the required safety regulations.

12/2003

Utilized Tribon to do composite drawing layouts of both plans and sections

and elevations within the assigned block location on the TAKE project.

Prepared chemical design drafts of ortho's for caustic storage, vacuum

systems, educators, venturi blowers for pellet conveying, seal liquid

coolers, phosgene analyzers, tie-ins, isometrics, and small bore pipe.

Williams Gas Pipeline Transco, Houston, Texas 9/2000 to 7/2001

As a designer for drawings of launchers, receivers, trap block valves,

kicker lines, crossover tie-ins, drainage, meters, compressor stations, and

field assignments.

Jacobs Engineering Group, Houston, Texas 11/1997 to 2/1999

Prepared plots for Propylene storage loading pumps, reactors, condensers

distillation, receivers, and equipment on the Oxy-Chem project. Also

developed drawings for heaters dealing with safety related block and

control valves for the Koch Project and did pipe layout, isometrics,

checking and pipe supports.

Utilized PDMS to revise designs, miscellaneous pipe supports, and transfer

manually drafted piping plans into full 3D piping model. Projects included

Multi-skid layout for treated hydrocarbon specifications; in order to

achieve common types of sulfur impurities present in gaseous hydrocarbons

to distillation endpoints plus vessels. Packaging of electro-mechanical

hydraulic piping per assembly. Routing of pipe between pumps, filter,

vessel, tower and client tie-ins plus small bore piping.

Sonatrach - Algerian-Alrar/Hassi R'Mel gas pipeline project - layout of

scrapper traps both receiver and launcher, dealing with block valves, pig

removal, installation plus davit space. Bypass lines, underground valve

arrangements and platform locations.
