September 2006 to present Program Counselor

Responsible for: 160 students and adults in which I perform intake

services, assessment diagnostic, follow-up academic

and advisement services for each of my students and

adults through the implementation of their individual

academic plan. This allows me to recommend any new

revisions that are needed to the existing program. I

am also responsible for recruiting and identifying

eligible participants for Student Support Services

for the Upward Bound, TRIO, Educational Talent Search

program and the college itself. I also coordinate the

tutor program to ensure that the proper tutors are

recruited, trained and then assigned to students that

are in need of tutoring. I provide individual

counseling and design by means of an instructional

plan for any student with a physical or academic

disability to ensure that they become academically
