Summary: I desire to utilize my plus 30 years of varied financial and

enterprises. I have played a major role in buying and
selling businesses. In that capacity, I have been the

managed the preparation of materials. Operationally, I have
been a hands-on CFO and have taken on significant
operational duties. Most of my career has been in IT
consulting /software development and payment processing
business. My retail experience includes both independent
multi store companies and being a franchisee for a national
franchise network.
Experience: 2009 to Present: CFO Consulting LLC. Omaha, NE
President
My firm serves as a Financial and Accounting Consultant to
small and medium-size companies. Main role is serving in a
long-term but timeshare or part-time position functioning
as a Chief Financial Officer for client companies.
Additionally, limited engagements consist of; assisting
companies with merger and acquisition opportunities,
capital raising presentation and solicitation functions,
crafting employee equity participation plans and
compensation design.
2006 to 2009: Planet Group Inc. Omaha, NE
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Corporate
Secretary and member of the Board of Directors
Planet Group Inc. was created via a leveraged buyout of
CSG's plaNet division. As a founder and CFO, I was
instrumental in creating the idea of the LBO, selling it to
CSG, negotiating the sale and getting it financed. The
company originally consisted of IT consulting and software
sales and development. However, the company was acquired
for the purpose of creating a credit card processing
concern through the development of existing software and
acquisition of various additional software components. My
major emphasis has been in making acquisitions that were
synergetic to our processing objectives, raising funds via
commercial banks, angel investors, and private equity
firms; and creating the infrastructure needed for the
assimilation and reporting of same.
2001 to 2006 CSG Systems, Inc, planet Consulting Div., Omaha, NE
Chief Operating Officer (CSG Vice President)
The position reports to the President of the division.
Duties included overseeing the plaNet division which
consisted of three IT consulting and software sales and
development units and acting as the main interface with
CSG's infrastructure, (Human Resources, Finance and MIS).
Some of the additional responsibilities I had
were compensation management, contract approval and
negotiation, budgeting and forecasting. The plaNet division
was grown to $30 million of revenue from $12 million during
this period due to growth in Planet's legacy products plus
being assigned additional CSG assets to manage.
1997-2001: plaNet Consulting Inc. Omaha NE.
Chief Financial Officer
I assisted the founders with the growth of this start-up.
The company started with the idea of leveraging the growth
of distributive platform software development. Over the
years and four acquisitions later, we had grown it to one
of Omaha's fastest growing companies. Duties included Human
Resources, Finance and Accounting, Legal, and all
Administration functions. Finance included working with
Venture Capital Groups. During my time I played a major
role in the acquisition process, acting as the chief
negotiator and head of the due diligence efforts. In 2001
I also played a major role in the sale of the company to
CSG Systems.
1990-1997: U.S. Software, Inc. (later a TSA company)
Omaha NE
Vice President of Finance and Administration
The company was an international seller of banking (EFT)
software. I assisted the founder in acquiring the software
assets from US West and starting the company. In addition
to usual CFO duties, highlights would include: (1) Creating
a unique employee equity participation plan, (2) Obtaining,
from the State of Iowa, over a half million dollars in
incentive funds, and (3) Assisting both U.S. Software and
Applied Communications in a joint leveraged buyout that
eventually created a successful Public Offering under the
Transaction Systems Architects company name.
1989-1990: O'Brien's Furniture, Omaha, NE.
Chief Financial Officer
The company had an ambitious plan to compete in the
competitive Omaha furniture retail market. Performed CFO

the furniture rent-to-own business. During my tenure we
closed down the rent-to-own business while opening two
additional retail outlets.
