Professional Experience
SNL Financial, Charlottesville, VA Sr. Project Mgr, Software Developer, 10/04 to Present
In 2004, I joined SNL as Senior Project Manager where I championed and strategically managed the
development and in house implementation of the Microsoft CRM 3.0 customer relationship sales/support
system, supporting over 1500 employees world wide and $125m in sales. Microsoft stated that SNL had
the largest implementation of their system globally and were so impressed with some of the innovative code
I developed that they asked to use it in their corporate implementation team. As a core member of the first
SNL SCRUM team at SNL, I thoroughly embraced the Agile and Lean processing methodology. I have a
strong adherence to the tenets of the waterfall system, maintaining accurate backlog documentation, testing
plans, and development task management throughout the life of each sprint. Extensive consulting with c
level management stakeholders and SMEs on high visibility Finance and HR projects. Global workforce
staff experienced.
In 2008, I transitioned to the challenging and rewarding role of C# Software Developer where I could
devote myself to more creative pursuits embracing XProgramming (extreme programming) methodoly. I
was responsible for the development of the $125m Finance subscription and business management systems
where I provided primary software development and data warehousing expertise using Visual Studio
2008/2010 (C#), Team Foundation Server (TFS), Sharepoint, and MS SQL 2008. Applications include web
applications, dashboards, Windows forms, and Windows services. High concentration on critical thinking,
unit testing, Use Cases, QA, and end to end testing. In February 2010, I worked with my team to port the
MS CRM system and its 90 million records to SalesForce.com, and created integrated custom applications
to migrate data back and forth between the cloud and internal warehouses (middleware/middle tier). These
warehouses provided a staged setting to share data, analysis, and reporting amongst the varied local
systems.
Comdial Corp, Charlottesville, VA Manager of Information Technology, 4/98 to 09/04
In 1998, I joined Comdial as the Corporate Trainer for 1200 manufacturing and engineering
employees, providing technical instruction on entry to advanced level computer theory and
software development.

based development for both Int ranet and Extranet sites in the corporate and subsidiary sites,
and a bottom-to-top in-house implementation of a Siebel 7.0 customer relationship
management/ERP/eBusiness customer care application serving over 850 users.
In 2000, I was promoted to M anager of Information Technology w here I directed a staff of
over 30 programmers/developers, support analysts, and network and server
administrators while continuing to bring new and innovative B2B, B2C, voice and VOIP

CFW nTelos Webmaster, 3/96 to 3/98
As one of the founding members of the CFW Communications In ternet team, as

t his “new and burgeoning” technology. I was responsible for designing and developing the

web development courses for the college. As this was a new initiative for BRCC, I was
responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive library of course materials used in
t he classroom.
