ACCOMPLISHMENTS
. Extended reverse osmosis membrane runtimes from 5 weeks to 24 weeks by
revamping antiscalant dose, type of antiscalant used, flux rates,
recovery rates and pretreatment thus improving production and
completely eliminating the use of Sulfuric Acid as a PH adjuster
saving the city approx. $100,000.00 per year in chemical cost,
chemical usage for CIP's, improved production and decreased membrane
down times.
. Created and implemented a new Standard Operating Procedure for the
Clean-In-Place
. Revised Dual Media filter back washing process economizing over 4
million gallons
per year of finished water
. Introduced and revised Pre-Treatment process by effectively utilizing
Free Chlorine for Arsenic and Iron removal
. Hosted and instructed a SOUTH EAST DESALTING ASSOCIATION workshop on
Membrane cleaning and theory of operations
. Trained 3 fellow employees and assisted in studying and preparation
for licensing Nominated two consecutive years for Operator of the
year, State of Florida
. Obtained all 4 Level Drinking Water Treatment Licenses with in 4 years

3 MGD Low Pressure Reverse Osmosis, Dual Media pressure filtration,
blending process utilizing Monochloramination, 31 production wells and
two off site re-pumping stations with total water storage of 22 MGD.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Volunteered at several different Water Treatment Facilities in order
to enhance my water process knowledge, the treatment facilities
include;
Hillsborough County - Treatment type: 50 MGD Conventional Treatment
Cosme St. Petersburg - Treatment type: Award Winning Lime Softening
Plant.
Southwest Membrane Operators Association - Current active member
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Passed the Florida Drinking Water Class A (Level 4) exam, currently
awaiting approximately 5 months operational hour to activate.
