experience in a R&D Magnetics manufacturing Multinational Company.

with responsibilities in the areas of research & development, Product
design & development, Project management and engineering management.
SUMMARY
4+ years experience in the design and manufacturing of custom
high frequency (Low-high) power transformers, Pulse transformer, CT,
inductors, chokes and all power supply related magnetic components.
* Developing and maintaining business relationships with external
customers to specify and design to meet their requirements
* Developing and evaluating the testing of prototypes along with
customer testing support are a subset of regular activities
* Supporting design work to improve performance, quality, and cost on
new & existing products
* Supporting actively with Magnetic production team with full ownership
from product design, development and evaluation primarily for the
Power supply products
* Design and development of inductors and transformers to be used in DC-
to-DC power modules with switching frequency range of 300KHZ to 1MHZ
range.
* Having knowledge of DC-to-DC & AC-DC switching topologies, transformer
and inductor design (wire wound, planar, helical types), DFM
guidelines, soft magnetic material characteristics, coil winding and
insulation properties, safety agency requirements, AC losses &
parasitic elements, and measurement techniques.
* Knowledge in magnetic materials selection (Powdered to ferrites cores)
* Work with other orgs (quality, marketing, purchasing, BCP engineering,
suppliers, customers)
* Participate in team-based project work and ability to fill multiple
roles. Ability to understand higher-level aspect of project. Ability
to take responsibility for things outside direct control.
* Responsible for preparing Failure Analysis report for continuous
defect products and submit reports to QC.
* Work on multiple design projects involving electrical, mechanical,
safety, qualification, and process engineering teams
* Get Trained about Magnetics Components Design in Delta Electronics
(Thailand) Public Co. Ltd for the period of 6 months.(July'10 to

> Designed Quasi resonant Fly back Transformer for LED Driver for power
rating of 10W application.
> Design power conversion topologies, line filter design, R&D experience
with DC to DC & AC to DC high frequency/efficiency power conversion >
5KW, EMC and Magnetics (low and high frequency).
> Magnetics design and manufacturing specifications for power transformers
(10W to 3kW). Applications for the components include battery charging,
telecoms rectifiers, solar power and high power applications.
> The design required the use of low profile Magnetics because of extreme
space restrictions. The challenge was to fully implement the PSU
specification in the space available as well as provide sufficient
lifetime in the high ambient temperature location allocated to the PSU
at a late stage.
