OBJECTIVE

I was hired to help the office team out with data entry. I processed returns to send to
distributor support for refund. I also helped with replacing orders that were damaged in
transit. I work in the front office, as a will call receptionist, helping distributors with their
product (picking up and ordering). I also work as a shipping clerk. I go in the morning
and print out the USPS orders that need to be shipped out. I still process returns and
damages. I work with BIRs (billing information received) and make sure that any product
stuck in this status gets replaced and shipped out.
We also have end of the month inventory counting cases of juice and other materials in
the warehouse.

I started out as a cashier. Then I was asked by one manager if I would like to work on her
team doing work behind the customer service desk. I helped out at the CS desk, but my
main duty was to work with holds that customers could put down for 5 days and I kept
them filed in alphabetical order. Also, if customers wanted a certain product and it wasn’t
in our store, I would call other stores to see if they could transfer the product to us so the
customer could buy it. As soon as that product came in, I would make phone calls to let
them know it was now available for purchase. I also kept track of customers’ layaways.
They could put them on a 90 day layaway and I would send out reminder cards of when
the layaway was due to pick up and how much money they still owed. I also processed
orders to go out by UPS. I also worked with multiple phones lines answering calls and
directing them to the appropriate departments.

I started out as a cashier checking out customers. One day, when a customer forgot an
envelope full of money on my register, I turned it into my store manager. He was so
impressed by my honesty that he asked me if I wanted to help in the cash office. So, I
worked in the cash office where I counted the safe, got the money ready for the day, and
registers ready. The cash office job took mostly 2-3 hours to do. Then I would go to work
with the truck team…taking merchandise to the floor and restocking. I have experience
working with plan-o-grams.
