EXPERIENCE

Executive with International Business Development and Marketing experience in Latin America and the

Caribbean. Experience includes business development/alliances with global companies like Microsoft and

AT&T, global marketing (Managing Advertising agencies), product management and development, global

team management, global operations and service delivery focusing on carriers and multinational customers

in Latin America. Positions held have ranged from (First position to current): Marketing Director for Central

America & Panama, Product management Latin America, Latin America Operations Manager for outsourcing

deals and Global Operations manager (Service Delivery) for custom bid customers. Last two positions

include managing processes during pre and post sales stages. Director of Business and Marketing

Development, responsible for identifying business opportunities/alliances, strategies, key initiatives and

performance measurements. Management of marketing, advertising and production initiatives and budgets of

$2.5M+, operating budgets for regional units, as well as P&L for units within Latin America.

Director of Business and Marketing Development

Lead for the development of JV’s - alliance opportunities in the Software, Telecom and Cable TV industries.

Responsible for business-alliance development with Microsoft, AT&T and other global companies. Also lead

product development and marketing at a global level which includes: on line campaigns, partner and product

marketing, branding and marketing communications, managing global cross functional teams and advertising

agencies.

Consulting Services for British Telecom, San Jose, Costa Rica 2009

Assessment to ICE (Costa Rica’s Telecom) in the development, integration and implementation of Triple Play

Project (IPTV, IP Voice and Internet) in conjunction with the implementation of the new Huawei network.

network solutions & implementation, resources and/or support for multinational customers. Position also

Interlocks, Budget Transfer and Technical Writing. Supported self-sufficient teams focused on the Americas

Region (Canada & Latin America),.

CONCERT, Coral Gables, Florida 2000 – 2002

Sales & Marketing Manager, Latin America

Responsible for providing support to the top 150 Global MNC’s (Concert & AT&T) located in Latin America.

Support provided via a sales & marketing team located throughout Latin America. Additional responsibilities

included negotiating funding for the Latin America sales force with Concert HQ and AT&T, as well as being

the interface with the HQ product houses to ensure best-of-class product service development and

deployment for the region. Accountable for $50M+ in yearly revenues. Lead the Regional Advisory Customer

Council for AT&T and Concert.

AT&T SOLUTIONS, Coral Gables, Florida 1995 – 2000

Solutions Manager, LATAM

Responsible for planning and developing of a pre-contract Professional Services Agreement (PSA) that

required network solutions & implementation, resources and support for multinational customers. Positi on

also responsible for the following COEs (Centers of Excellence): Due Diligence, Operational Assessment,

Deal Interlocks, Budget Transfer and Technical Writing, and executed strategic plan to increasing country

exports by industry, segment and category. Directly responsible for country’s Free Zone management,

approvals, audits and policy changes.

Product houses, Business Units, telephone administrations and local business entities in the Caribbean &

million in revenues with operating budget of $2.3M

Marketing Director Central America

Responsible for AT&T product launches and marketing aspects for Central America. This included plans

with Product Houses, brand team throughout the marketing process to drive profitability and growth,
