Position: HVAC Engineering Unit Head
1. Designed and built HVAC systems, including DX systems, chilled water
systems, and comfort zones.
2. Managed the engineering design of a large number of residential
buildings, exceeded 200 custom designed homes with a variety of
applications such as home theaters, indoor swimming pools, commercial
kitchens, sauna rooms, multipurpose halls.
3. Designed and built 3-story gym's HVAC system including: Sauna rooms,
Indoor Jacuzzi, Indoor swimming pool, aerobics room, spa, dancing
rooms, cardio room, lobby, etc.
4. Supervised the HVAC systems' construction and directed the
superintendents and supervisors.
5. Managed the material deliveries, duct fabrication, equipment
purchasing, and installations.
6. Managed all change orders redesign, removing and replacing, contracts
financial situations implications.
7. Managed all customers' requests and ensured full customer

8. Designed and built two praying chapels using air-cooled chillers, air
handling units and fan coil units.
9. Managed and directed the maintenance operations for two oil and gas

Hired for 2 months as a consultant by the board to re-establish an
engineering department that is capable to overcome the previous
engineering strategic failures. My consultancy yielded considerable
quantitative and qualitative engineering outcome and it addressed all
of the following aspects:

engineering design processes for construction projects
* Accuracy and complexity of the engineering design versus

utility and water-cooled chilled-water station, piping, heat
exchangers, underground water storage tanks, pumping
station/s, for a complex of superstore, high-rise office
building (36 Stores), shopping mall (3 Stores), cinema and
entertainment complex (5 Theaters), three high-rise apartment
buildings (26-28 Stores), high-rise 4-start hotel (32 Stores),
and waste water recycling infra-structural utility. (Value:
$180 million, Area: 277 Acres, built-up area: 1,670,000SF)
* The Jewel residential development, Lahore, Pakistan - It
consisted of underground utility master planning design for
1200 single houses, including; 16-models of individual housing
and 4-models of townhouses, health care building, chapel,
multi-purpose hall, shops plaza, retail complex. (Value: $85
million, Area: 55 Acres, avg. house area: 3,000 SF)
* LAS Architectural consultants (Consultant & Senior MEP Engineer
Sample -2000/2004)
Part time Senior MEP Consultant
Contracted with LAS as private professional engineer consultant to
perform the following activities:
* Concept design, design philosophy, and master planning of the
mechanical services of Kuwait city urban fill project.
Developed the design philosophy of a central mechanical
services station, Ice-storage chilled-water central station
having capacity of 25,000 Tons of cooling, and wastewater
treatment and recycling station with capacity of 1,500,000
GPD.
* MEP Design of a clinic, wood manufacturing facility,
governmental building, few private villas, and chalets.
* Hired as full time employee by this consultant office in due
course.
* Cooling & Homes Co. (Design and Build Contracting Sample - 2005-2006)
Contracted as a PE to design and build MEP systems for the following
projects, including; construction management, material and equipment
purchasing, quality control, all necessary paper work and permits.
* Managed the engineering design and build of a TV Studio for Al-
Rai TV and Media. The project consisted of engineering design
of a floating building suspended on spring-mounted base,
external wall vibration and noise Isolation engineering
design, HVAC equipment vibration isolation, heating & cooling
loads calculation, ventilation and fire fighting design, data
center cooling design, sound attenuation for the air-
conditioning equipment, particulate and HEPA filtration for
the whole building, dehumidification of the building
enclosure, and room-to-room noise and sound elimination
through a complex design of air plenum boxes. (HVAC Value:
$3.6 million, built-up area: 30,000SF)
* Managed the design and build of a HVAC system for a 5 star
restaurant and dining hall in Crown Plaza Hotel.
* Managed the design and build of an HVAC system for "Al-Watan"
newspaper printing press with special air filtration
requirements.
* Design and build of a pre-chiller to an ice-making factory at
Arifjan, US base in Kuwait.
* Arabi Enertech Co. (Contracting/Subcontracting sample - 2001-2006)
Subcontracted to execute the following project:
* Managed the design and build of the Special Forces
Headquarters HVAC system.
* Managed the design and build of HVAC systems for few control
rooms in an Ammonia Petrochemical Industry Factory. The system
involved a gas phase filtration, clean room standards,
automated ventilation system for fire fighting, and a precise
fully automated programmable control.
* Managed the design and build of cooling system for data
center/s at governmental buildings.
* Managed the design and build of the air-cooled chilled water
system for the Armory and Weapon Storage building. (HVAC

* Kamal M. Sultan Co. (KMS) (Refrigeration and Variable Contracting
Sample 2004-2008)
* Hired as a construction manager of an Ice factory with a total
capacity of 1500 Ton/day. The project consisted of steel
building, two split-type tubular ice-making machines, two
cooling towers, pre-cooling chiller, 5-stage water treatment
plant, cold store, and packaging equipment.
* Designed and built central cooking gas system, 3 kitchen
hoods, kitchen hoods' automatic firefighting system, cooking
fumes treatment equipment, swimming pool, and Jacuzzi at Mr.
Kamal Sultan Villa.
* Locrete Industries - design and development sector (Mechanical Systems
Process Design Sample - 2005-2006)
* Contracted to provide a steam-curing process engineering
design for the precast concrete production facility. An
industrial solution to reduce the time delaying process by a
factor of two in order to match the time of other processes
associated with this line of production. The mechanical
process design involved with solar energy, boilers, heat
exchangers, piping, steam, and other air, water and steam
circulation equipment. The design implemented in their new
facility in the new factories and achieved new remarkable
records of production speed.
* Kharafi National (Engineering Design and contracting Sample - 2002-
2006)
* HVAC Engineering design of an air-conditioned bridge of 260
meter long and 20 meter wide. The bridge is a national
architectural footprint in Kuwait located at the Marina Mall.
The bridge in made of curved glass and suspended over the gulf
road connecting the marina with the mall.
* Designed and build fully-welded Stainless-steel air ducting
for the swimming court at Jaber Stadium. One of the most
famous footprints in the Middle-East.
* Designed and built few fully-welded Stainless steel kitchen
hoods and relevant ducting at variable food courts inside
malls, and five star hotels.
* Awali Co. (Partnership in Duct Fabrication Facility Sample - 2002-
2007)
* Managed the facility production operations, safety procedures,
and quality control on semi-daily bases.
* Upgraded the equipment to include all duct joints and
