I am a hard worker, come to work every day. I am on time every day. I am customer satisfaction
driven. As you can see from my resume I have longevity at my last two jobs. I lost both of them
due to layoffs. At my last job I worked as a customer service representative for 9 years at a
manufacturing company. It was a life science company selling research kits for diabetes and
other diseases to companies, Universities and Hospitals all over the world. I worked with
customers, doctors, PhD’s, lab techs, purchasing agents, our sales staff, our sales managers, and
district sales managers. I also worked with people inside our company. My supervisor, her
supervisor, many different managers and departments including but not limited to purchasing,
shipping, manufacturing, planning, research and development and accounting. I took orders,
helped sales people work with customers, worked with customers to solve problems and
whatever else needed to be done. I was also the relief receptionist for a multiline system which
included international calls. It was a busy phone system. I was relief when the receptionist was
on breaks, lunch, out sick, on vacation or any other time they needed me. We had 3 buildings
and did paging. I sorted mail and posted outgoing mail. I greeted visitors and directed them to
the people they needed to see or found the person they wanted. I dealt with vendors coming in
and going. I sorted pages for marketing while at the receptionist desk and did some data entry
also while there when time permitted. I enjoyed my job very much. I look forward to hearing
from you.
