C AREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS

C ommercial Developer/General Contractor

Developing and managing a ten acre tract of property that required over eighty-thousand

cubic yards of engineered fill to bring the property up to highway grade. The project

required water quality ponds, on-site sewage treatment systems, underground utilities and an

extensive road system. Multiple city variances were also required. This property is now

home to the first hotel in the Dripping Springs area.

Developing and managing an office park with over thirty-thousand square feet of space.

This property also includes an eight-thousand square foot restaurant anchor. The

development required the construction and installation of water quality ponds, an on-site

sewage treatment system and underground utilities.

Developing and managing a retail center that is currently leased by a variety of business

including a restaurant.

General contracting of multiple residential properties.

M anufacturing Engineer

Worked closely with mechanical engineers and vendors to redesign parts which resulted in

decreased manufacturing time and assembly time thus saving the company money.

Helped to develop a chemical process to finish aluminum parts. Before this process our

vendors spent multiple hours every day hand finishing. This saved the company millions of

dollars. U.S. patent # 6,481,449 B1

Helped redesigned a cleanroom sub-product line that was a log jam in the overall end

product assembly. After the process redesign, the line was able to keep up with production.

2002–2011 Self Employed Dripping Springs, TX

C ommercial Developer / General Contractor

Commercial projects include: Developing a large office park with a restaurant anchor.

Developing a parcel of land into multiple commercial condo pad sites. General contracting a

small strip-mall (most of the finish out work I performed myself). My duties and skills

included:

Working with city staff, city council, county officials and state officials.

Working with county and state agencies (e.g. TCEQ, TxDOT, county environmental

quality, etc.).

Working closely with my civil engineer, my septic designer and architect.

Working with sub-contractors during the bidding process and helped ensure that the

work was being performed to plans and applicable codes were met.

Working closely with all utility companies. LCRA, Texas Gas, Verizon, Time Warner,

PEC, etc.

Managing all partnership finances.

Setting up and managing condo associations.

Working with marketing to sell commercial pad-sites, condo office space and lease retail

space.

Proficient in M.S. Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Project

Residential projects have included; general contracting speculation homes and custom

homes. Also, I purchased several homes that needed extensive work, remodeled and sold

them. I preformed most of the work myself. I also do remodel and home repair services.

My duties included.

Working closely with the architect.

Working with sub-contractors during the bidding process and helped ensure that the

work was being performed to plans and applicable codes.

corrected part design issues and worked closely with vendors to ensure the product was
