SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Management and Administration. Manages installation restoration projects
to include construction, testing and operation of pump and treat
groundwater remediation systems. Administers Environmental Safety
Occupational Health Compliance Assessment and Management Program audit,
which includes safety, industrial hygiene, public health, and fire
prevention activities. Manages wide range of construction projects and
real property transactions for on-base and remote locations to ensure
environmental compliance requirements are met, considered, and included in
the construction process. Ensures all environmental permitting
requirements for all Nevada Air National Guard owned or leased properties
are completed and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Manage environmental and industrial hygiene activities concerning all
installation activities to include the Aerial Port and Herlong, California
Army Depot storage locations and C-130 drop zone. Implements and manages
installation Hazardous Material Pharmacy serving all Nevada Air National
Guard industrial shops, contractor, and state managed facilities. Leads the
installation Hazardous Material Management Process Team. Serves as a
member of the State of Nevada Joint Military Affairs Committee. Serves as
a member of the Washoe County Local Emergency Planning Committee.
Initiates, secures funding for, and implements pollution prevention
projects. Responsible for spill prevention activities, exercises, and
plans. Acts as responsible installation official for hazardous waste
management, disposal, and training for base, remote, state, and contractor
managed activities. Manages environmental budgeting activities. Prepares,
researches, justifies, and submits environmental contract requests.
Administers and manages environmental contracts serving as Contracting
Officer's Representative. Manages installation Green Procurement Program to
include recycling, reuse, and environmentally friendly contracting and
construction management. Serves as sole installation point of contact with
federal, state, and local regulatory, administrative officials as well as
public representatives. Initiates environmental baseline survey and
environmental assessment documentation. Directs compliance activities
regarding requirements outlined in the Emergency Planning and Community
Right-to-Know Act.
