Responsibilities:
. Complete Board level and product level Testing and compliance of all
the boards as per the product requirements.
. Plan, Prepare and Execute complete DVT (Design Validation Testing)
process from the initial stages of the design.
. Review on the designs to ensure they meet the product requirements.
. Give Customer support to clients at various locations.

Project Experience:
Project: IPTV/ Set top Box System
Description: It consists of conceptualizing design, test and implementation
of the system. Sigma Designs SMP8650 series secure media processor is used.
. Worked in Board bring-up which includes processor test, memory test
and I/O test.
. Worked in DVT process of the board.
. Prepared complete Board level and product level testing and
compliance.
Project: Portable systems 1: Intel Atom (SOC) E6xx series with TopCliff
(IOH)
Description: We designed small form factor system with interfaces like USB,
GbEthernet, SDVO, etc. It is designed to run with Fedora 11, MeeGo, WinXp
and WinXpe.
. Prepared and executed Board bring-up and DVT process.
. Developed BLDK file using the utility tool according to the
specification.
. IOH Ethernet driver modification in which EEPROM concept is not
used. MAC address will be stored in File/BIOS. This will help in
cost reduction of board in bulk productions.
. Tested and Validated manufacturing test scripts to test the
interfaces of the board.
. Doing the BIOS validation on the board.
. Prepared factory test method and procedure to test the product.
Project: Portable systems 2: Intel Atom Zxx series with Poulsbo (SCH)
Description: We designed small form factor system with interfaces like USB,
Ethernet, SDVO, etc. The system is designed with constraints such as low
power consumptions with options of low and high bandwidth interfaces.
. Generated drivers for Intel Embedded Graphics driver (IEGD) tool.
. Tested and Validated manufacturing test scripts to test the
interfaces of the board.
. Doing the BIOS and OS validation on the board.
. Prepared factory test method and procedure to test the product.

Wipro Technologies is an offshore software company which delivers the full
range of products and services in various sectors, business process, and
consulting & systems integration services.
Responsibilities:
. Worked as a Compliance Test Engineer in TARANG (Wipro's Compliance and
Pre-Compliance testing lab) from November 2008 - 2010.
. Responsibilities include R&D on new Standards like DO160, ISO7637-2.
. System modeling using CST.
. Preparing test plans, test case development, test report generation
and support activities.

. Performed compliance tests and test setups related to CE and FCC
certifications.
. R&D work on generating waveforms as per DO-160 and ISO- 7637-2
Standards used for voltage spike testing.
. Hand's on experience with ESD Gun, EFT/B Generators, CRO, Spectrum
Analyzer, RF Signal Receiver etc.
. Performed DC-voltage variant tests using CHROMA power source and
Inrush current measurement tests.
. Designed waveforms as per customer requirements for testing the
voltage variation withstanding capabilities of products using INTUI
Link soft panel.
. Prepared Test plan as per customer requirements generated and reviewed
EMC test reports.
. Explored the possibilities of using CST tool in EMI/EMC testing and
designed and simulated the antenna characteristics for one external
customer.
. Implemented cost effective methods for performing various tests like V-
dips, V-interrupts, Power Frequency magnetic field.

Project: Micro strip antenna design using CST and evaluate the response.
Project Duration: 1 Month
Total Members in the team: 1nos.
Description: To design a micro strip antenna to resonate at 2.45GHz and to
see the response. The outcome was satisfactory for the end customer.
