BOC Edwards (worldwide manufacturer of Vacuum Systems and electronic gases
used in semiconductor manufacturing applications)
Project manager for development of customer access web site, fully integrated with ERP back-end
systems. Managed a worldwide team of 12 developers. Key accomplishment was successfully
implement i2 eCommerce Website fully integrated to the ERP system with real-time delivery dates, on-
time and on-budget. Responsible for the Applications portion of the North American IM $2.5M Budget.
• Developed the corporate B2B strategic plan to perform eBusiness
functions with major semiconductor customers. This included eCatalog,
Purchase Orders, Invoices and Order Status with full integration with ERP
System.
• Managed the implementation of electronic commerce Purchase Order
(ePO) and electronic commerce (eInvoicing) with full integration to the legacy
ERP systems.
• Documented business requirements for SAP / Oracle Backend Order-To-
Cash implementation, including the functionality of multiple business units.
• Managed professional Global staff of 20 Business System Analysts,
AS400 Programmers, PC Client server Developers and Contractors.
• Project Manager for a full business system upgrade, including the
removal of a custom Order Entry Module and replacing it with a packaged
module (MAPICS DB to MAPICS XA).
• Project Manager for the new business acquisitions integration into the
existing business systems, including processes and procedures.
• Lead role on many Total Quality Management (TQM) teams working
towards a paperless office. Business process improvements were achieved in
Inventory Control, MRP, DRP, Forecasting, Production Planning, Purchasing,
