Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed are highlights of my professional experience and achievements that
I believe would make a valuable contribution to your organization in the HR
Manager position.
My knowledge concerning Human Resource issues and the ability to develop
and oversee Human Resource programs on a national level is very applicable
to your requirements. I understand and can articulate a strategy regarding
control, responsibility and accomplishment of company goals while
understanding the business, labor and culture of each location. I pride
myself on making good decisions, resolving problem situations and work hard
to create processes to identify and develop talent within an organization,
including training programs as well as Performance Management, AB1825, and
SMART Goal tracking. In addition to being part of the senior management
team, I am a "hands on, roll up the sleeves and get to work" HR
practitioner, enjoying the day-to-day HR operations as well as the
strategic challenges of growing a business.
My responsibilities have covered all aspects of Human Resources and
include:
Compensation/Benefits Staffing/Retention
Relocation & Expatriate Policies Handbooks, Safety
EEO/AAP & Legal Compliance Management Practices
Employee Relations Immigration
HRIS Executive Team
Development
Reduction In Force Budget development and
tracking
I have developed a professional and dedicated staff and have had great
reporting relationships with my Executive Staff and Legal group. In a
previous position I had overall plant responsibility for over one million
square feet of manufacturing space, with approximately 200,000 feet built
out for production. I worked closely with the General Contractor, Subs and
my employees on a day to day basis for smooth operations and to meet all
budget targets and deadlines, as well strategic planning for each phase of
implementation. In another, I was responsible for the planning, execution
and deployment of Field Service Engineers to support equipment
installations across the US and Canada, and had grown the employee
headcount from under 200 to over 1100 in less than 18 months.
After setting my career aside to care for my parents, I have begun to re-
activate my career. I was brought in to a small Hard Cider production
facility to help establish HR policies and procedures for the introduction
of HR practices, as well as policy and handbook development, focusing on
both strategic planning and day to day employee interactions. In addition,
I have been working on a contract basis helping companies re-vamp and
revise Employee Handbooks, Policies and Procedures and completing required
filings for EEO-1, VETS 100 and Affirmative Action Plans. I feel my
experience and qualifications would be a good match.
I very much look forward to the opportunity to speak with you regarding
your open position. My resume is attached for your review and
consideration.
Best Regards,
Holly Rodeo
