Result: Led plant to the achievement of 1 Silver Door & 1 Golden Door Award
Implemented safety inspections, safety meetings, enforcement of safety
policies & employee awareness.
Result: Improved Safety including 2.5 years without a LTA & 1.5 years with
a Recordable Accident
Managed Plant from significant losses to a positive profit in only 2 years,
through development of subordinates, Lean manufacturing, cost controls,
quality improvements, Kaizen, employee involvement, statistical control and
customer satisfaction.
Result: Reversed $2.0M losses to profitability in 2 years.
Spearheaded safety program including safety awareness, safety meetings,
regular safety inspections, review of operating procedures, Kaizen
implementation and employee participation.

Evaluated waste streams in the factory to determine the feasibility and

concrete industry to create a safer and more efficient production process,

Managed and directed five separate Capital projects as Manufacturing
Manager during my career ranging in value from $1.0M to $5.0M to increase
plant capacity and efficiency. This included project conception,
justification, drawings review, installation, training, procedures
implementation and start-up/debug. All projects were completed on time and
on budget.
Result: Increased plant capacity by >50%, while reducing costs $2,000,000
annually.
On these projects and in maintenance I was responsible for parts quality,
drawings, fit-up and installation. Read blueprints, implemented changes,
responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and operation of the
jobs.
