Work accomplishments

-Successfully implemented new inventory system

-Created employers first employee handbook

-Redesigned 40 page budget spreadsheet, standardizing forms to increase

efficiencies, which was implemented at 8 other locations.

-Lead transition to digital television in 68th market

-Reviewed, redesigned and implemented new internal controls

-Trained staff on the use of excel, outlook, and other various software

packages

-Facilitated employee incentives, which increased morale and employee work

ethic, which resulted in increased revenues

-Streamline the HR process by implemented new HR online system. This

included access to their job requirements, annual reviews, and self-

evaluations and allowed them to change their exemption status, print copies

of their check stubs and W2's as well as request for time-off.

-Increased employee participation in 401k by 20%, buy providing routine

education to employees on the importance of saving for retirement.

-Reduced operating costs by 10-25% without change in the number of

employees or disruption to the operation of the business.

Here are some examples of how I reduced operating costs:

-Revamped entire employee benefit package. By increasing benefits to

employees; while reducing cost to both the employee and employer.

-Reduced AR collection days over 90 from an average of 10-15% to an

average of <5%, which substantially reduced bad debt and the fees for

an outside collection agency.

-Reevaluated, renewed and renegotiated contracts and leases, which

reduced cost and increased efficiencies to employer.

-Coordinated with sales managers on the use of optional inventory

through network affiliation and educated them how to sell the

inventory while still staying profitable.

-Redesigned the report format used internally to calculate sales

commissions, reducing human errors in calculations.

-Reduced expenses by decreasing the number of incoming phone lines

after monitoring telephone line usage over a period of time.

-Eliminated costs associated with transmitting signal thru fiber and

traced each fiber line to the appropriate provider and uncovered lines

that were installed many years ago but were not being used by the

recipient, as requested in joint contract. (Signal was being captured

over the air and fiber was not being used)
