During this time I performed many general duties including: Phlebotomy Draws, Quality

Control Analysis, Inst rument t roubleshooting and preventative maintenance, analyzing

patient samples and reporting results in laboratory computer system.

Hematology: Normal and Abnormal Differentials (XE 2100 Alpha and SF3000 Alpha),

Reticulocyte Count, Erthrocyte Sedimentation Rate, Urinalysis

(chemical/microscopic), Body Fluid Analysis, Coagulation (Stago STA

Compact).

M icrobiology: Chlamydia Trachoma IS (Gen-Probe® PACE®), Media Inoculation,

M icro Scan®, ERIC™ Electronic RapID Compendium, Rapid Immunoassays;

Rotavirus, Crypto/Giardia, E. coli 0157, Toxin A and B (for Clostridium

d ifficile), Mycoplasm, RPR Rapid Plasma Reagin for diagnosis of Syphilis.
