SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
SARGENT & LUNDY
. Directed numerous Jones Lang LaSalle LEED certified projects with
Chicago based Sargent & Lundy's headquarters including the build out
of S&L's three office floors (35,000 square feet-security system,
conference rooms, restrooms, reception area, offices, CEO's office,
etc.) Construction involved core wall demolition, plumbing and
electronics installation, and concrete, ceiling and deck work.
NEW SUMMIT HILL JUNIOR HIGH:
. New construction for 160,000 square foot junior high for Frankfort
School District 161. Project consisted of 28 bid packages and numerous
subcontractors working on tight schedules. Planning and contingency
planning were critical and addressed weather delays, unsuitable soils,
design changes, and construction schedule changes, yet the new junior
high school was delivered on time. The project consisted of all site
utilities, road widening and parking facilities, two 2 story classroom
wings, two gyms, band and library facilities, administration area, and
cafeteria/auditorium.
NEW NANCY MCCONATHY LIBRARY
. New 16,000 square foot project ranging from site development to grand
opening. Library constructed using metal studs, structural steel, and
brick veneer. Construction consisted of main library, meeting room,
technology room, all mechanicals and site utilities. Coordinated all
trades and met project deadline and budget requirements. Consulted
with MEP structural and civil engineers and resolved all conflicts
with DWGs.
CLASSROOM REMODELS AND ADDITIONS
. Various classroom remodels, including science labs, food lab, and
restroom renovations, and a small addition to Hillcrest High School.
Projects included demolishing existing facilities and cutting existing
slabs to install plumbing, electrical and mechanical components.
Managed 3 remodeling projects simultaneously at 3 different schools
and completed all in a 10-week period.
FIREMAN'S FUND
. Project was located in a 30-story office building in downtown Chicago.
McClier Corporation managed the project and GHK were architects.
Served as the head project superintendent. Planned and administering
sub-contractors' schedules and oversaw project quality and safety.
Project consisted of an interior build-out of the 4th and 5th floors.
Supervised the project from demolition to inspections through punch
list and client delivery.

Worked on a variety of interior office build-outs for Sargent & Lundy.
Installed security systems for a 13 floor business with systems ranging in
value from $500 thousand to $7 million. Oversaw work at Restaurant.com
headquarters in Arlington Heights. Facilitated office remodeling job at
L.C. Williams. Supervised a number of smaller interior renovations at Aon
Center.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT GROUP, Frankfort, Illinois
2004 - 2007

Supervised projects ranging in value from $500 thousand to $32 million.
Projects included New Summit Hill Junior High, Nancy McConathy Library,
classroom & restroom remodels at Bremen High School, Hillcrest High School,
Oak Forest High School, Hilda Walker Middle School and Indian Prairie
School 2nd floor build-out.
DOHERTY CONSTRUCTION, Woodstock, Illinois
2003 - 2004
Project Superintendent
Managed construction projects at Sunny Hill & Woodland Schools, Barrington
South Dakota, and Foster and Kerkstra Schools in Oak Forest, Illinois.
Projects consisted of major remodeling of the HVAC system and construction
of new windows, doors, classrooms, and a cafeteria.
VIKING CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, Lincolnshire, Illinois
2001 - 2003
Project Superintendent
Supervised Val-Matic $2 million project including factory addition, 146
space parking lot and detention areas. Directed Prairie Oaks Elementary
School phase 2 project valued at $14 million. Additional responsibility
for shop DWGs & submittal review, pay application review and approval, etc.
MCCLIER CORPORATION, Chicago, Illinois
2000 - 2001
Project Superintendent
Oversaw projects valued from $1.8 million to $2.5 million. Projects
included: complete interior alterations of 4th and 5th floors for the
Fireman's Fund, construction of 7-11 stores in the Chicago Metro area and
close-out of ComDisco's Wood Dale generator room and web availability area.
