I am seeking a Physician Assistant position at your clinic and have

attached my CV for your reference.

This past year, working alongside UC Davis Emergency Medicine Residents, I

have learned to master the challenges of providing efficient, quality

treatment and care from pediatrics to a geriatric patient population in a

fast paced urgent care. In particular, my tasks have included suturing

lacerations, incision and drainage of abscesses, ordering and interpreting

appropriate studies ie xrays, ultrasounds, CT scans, blood labs, and making

appropriate evaluations and referrals to the ER, or specialists.

In addition, my experience includes Family Medicine working in a private

practice and community based clinic for 2 years. In this capacity I have

provided care to a wide range of a patient population to include pediatrics

to geriatrics, managing chronic health issues to include diabetes,

hypertension, hyperlipidemia, etc.

Moreover, I speak fluent Spanish and have been trained in the use of

eClinical Works electronic medical records. I have honed leadership

qualities - strong written and oral communication skills as an Anatomy and

Physiology instructor to pre-nursing students for close to 3 years. I enjoy

working as part of a team and flexible to work independently when

appropriate.
