Perform near field calibration of the AN/TPS-59 Radar system utilizing the Special Purpose Antenna Calibration System (SPACS) to determine the

antenna wave pattern. And to observe the side lobes.

Detect and diagnose malfunctions within the system. Review and analyze data to determine testing, troubleshooting, and repair procedures. Posses

Develop test procedures and test fixtures to effect malfunction correction and verification testing of the system and subsystems. Prototypes new or

experimental fixtures and test systems. Develop and evaluate test procedures and fixtures for the next work load.

Operate and maintains special test equipment such as digital and analog test sets, High power Radio Frequency (RF) amplifiers and radar transponder

console. Use high level test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers Pre selectors and precision Wave Generators, Hi-POT

As a Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic, I was responsible for work order assignments and making complex repairs, dissembled, assembled, apply

preservation compounds, repaired, adjusted, applied modifications, tested and troubleshooting involving portions of major assemblies or systems. To

ensure completeness of equipment and vehicles we were to make major rebuilds to heavy mobile equipment such as 1150 and 1155E Case Dozer

Tractor, High Mobile Multi Wheeled Vehicles (HMMVW), M900 series 5 ton trucks. The equipment that we worked with contained hydraulic, pneumatic,

pneudraulic, or mechanical system, suspension assembly, engine and transmission assembly, fuel, coolant, electrical and fire suppression system with

features that are designed for combat. I determine parts needed such as but not limited to water pumps, air and wiring harness, hydraulic component

hoses, steering boxes, hydraulic tanks, cylinders, exhaust systems, thermostats, batteries, suspension road-wheel, track, brake shoes, and shock

absorbers using information from the manual. My work is subject to functional testes and final inspection for quality of workmanship and compliance by

the Quality Control Inspector using accepted trade practices, technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, rebuild standards, torque specifications and

instructions and I work independently from sketches, modification work order sheets, graphs, drawings, supply manuals, charts, and written and oral

instructions. I also rebuild major components and install these components using the trade but not limited to sanders, wrenches, torque wrenches,

grinders, adjustable box, tubing wrenches, pneumatic wrenches, also used micrometers, standard, tools, impact tools, feeler gauges. I also

recondition, rebuild and repair using drills, screw drivers, dolly sets, body spoons, jacks, presses, value grinders, ring compressors, air pressure

Inspections (LTI), trace and locate mechanical defects, test, adjusting, modifying, inspecting after rebuild and overhaul using Technical Instruction (TI),

Technical Manuals (TM), Modification Instruction (MI), Statement Of Work (SOW), and must be accepted by the Quality Control Inspector. As a

mechanic I was responsible to my supervisor and the company to select the best method to find correct mechanical defects, build quality into the

product, produce in quantity, work with and lead co-workers, use all proper safety equipment required, cleanliness of equipment and obey the rules,

regulations, directives and standard operating procedures. I loaded and unloaded processing baskets of heavy parts and assemblies during various

items cleaned to assure the desired cleanliness and surface condition is produced. I used various chemical solutions including phosphoric acid,
