As Director of IT with Focus Products Group (FPG), a consumer goods

distribution company, I was accountable for supporting the company's

strategic goals by providing leadership, vision, and management to the IT

department. I worked with the business managers to understand their short

pains and long term gains. I researched available technologies to solve

complex business problems; which led to successfully deploying new IT

initiatives that helped the business achieve its goals. In many cases I

managed 3rd party providers to do the work, since FPG was not a large

enough company to support a large internal staff.
