WORK HISTORY:

2006-2010 Public Works Combination Residential Building Inspector :

Inspections of new and remodeled residential and multi family structures during

construction and upon completion ensure compliance with all building, energy, fire assemblies,

mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building, and local amendment requirements. Compliance cross

referenced to include civils, structurals, and all geotechnical soils reports to include attention to local

highly expansive soils and PT cable and rebar reinforcement requirements for slabs and footings.

Document and photograph deviation from approved plans and address accordingly with contractors,engineers and architects to redline plans and correct said deficiencies. Review permitting for all

structures and accessory structures and cross reference in Hanson - City Software. Confer with all trades,

builders, architects, engineers,general public and homeowners, and explain and interpret requirements

and restrictions. Participate in training for all on site staff and trade foreman regarding plans reading,

ordinances, laws and amendments and local beautification and structural restrictions. Inspection and

findings and narrative reports on burn out houses with code enforcement and fire department cross

referencing. Inspection of public housing and cumulative written assessment of housing needs or demo

recommendations. Two way radio communication and occasional code enforcement and homeowner

education and citations. Utilize a high degree of customer service and maintain and reflect a positive

image on behalf of the city.

Construction Manager: Lennar, Ryland, Richmond American Homes :

2002-2006

Supervise, schedule, Co-ordinate, train and evaluate all superintendents,trade foremen,

customer service and on-site office staff. Perform write-ups, assess and determine disciplinary action up

to and including termination. Perform two way radio communication and dispatch. Train and implement

Build Pro software and concepts with all related staff. Budget and project jobs for scheduling, materials

and all related costs and potential costly delays. Maintain inspection and permit records, redline all

project plans for revisions and relate changes to field staff. Maintain positive, productive environment for

staff. Work as a team leader and builder. Review all plans and permitting. Walk and review thoroughly

all job sites ; project and anticipate drainage, survey, ordinance, permitting, or compliance issues.

Oversee and schedule all inspections for expeditious, heavy production environment. Meet and exceed

building projections . Ensure timely homeowner walk throughs with zero item expectation and

commitment to excellence. Operate heavy equipment as needed. Scheduling, Intake and security of all

building materials. Maintain logs on vandalism and theft up to and including filing police reports.

Maintain clean, safe work environment by ordering dumpsters and hiring daily laborers to help

accomodate a stellar production schedule. Hire, monitor and maintain jobsite security and/ or mobile

security cameras. Delegation and follow up for homeowner issues. Document and track all third party

epoxies and related special reports. Track all laterals and maintain a positive rapport with the utility

companies. Mold abatement and assessment and resolution of potential causal effect to construction

defects.

1996-2001 Darlak Construction : Project Manager

Sales, Marketing Meetings and Interfacing with prospective clients. Interviewing, resume’

assessment to determine education and work history for position potential . Write ups, and or disciplinary

action up to and including termination. Daily field supervision of foremen and staff. Customer service

satisfaction follow ups. Work with residents, property managers, maintenance staff and housing

management staff to identify and prioritize construction needs within the housing developments.

Supervise staff to ensure timely projection completion to avoid costly daily financial losses. Monitor

contracts and inspect project work sites. Continuous assessment of limited resources to ensure they are

acquired and deployed properly. Inventory and tracking of building materials and supplies.
