Employment Highlights
2007 - 2010
Tishman Construction Co., City Center Resort, Las Vegas, NV
The City Center project is the largest publicly funded project in the U.S.
As Sr. Project Manager for Tishman Construction I represented MGM Mirage in
all pre-construction and construction phases of the Aria Resort and Casino
podium area. This included the 165,000sf casino, restaurant venues, pool
deck, back of house support areas and the 70,000sf spa. My responsibilities
included monitoring construction schedules, reviewing estimates to
determine compliance with the GMP, researching value engineering
opportunities and making recommendations to the owner related to
maintaining baseline budgets. I also managed document control aspects of
the project, evaluated change order requests and reviewed payment
applications.
2006 - 2007
JR Knowles, Inc./Hill International, Encinitas, CA
As Senior Construction Consultant for JR Knowles/Hill International I was
assigned as the owner's representative for the Wild Horse Pass Casino
Resort in Chandler, AZ. The project consisted of a 90,000 sq ft casino, 250
room hotel, restaurants and shops within the hotel and a conference center.
After completion of the first phase another 250 room hotel tower and a
200,000 sq ft retail facility is planned. I assisted the Tribal attorneys
with the negotiation of the Architectural firm's contract, worked with the
design team on the overall master site plan and the resort design. I also
processed payment applications, reviewed and responded to RFIs and change
orders and maintained pre-construction schedules. Upon completion of the
pre-construction and design phase I worked with the owner to prepare
proposal requests for general contracting firms and made recommendations
for the final selection.
2002 - 2006
IPS, Inc., Richmond, VA
As Executive Project Manager for IPS, I represented the owner on multiple
projects for new construction and renovation projects at the existing
Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Pre-construction activities include requesting
proposals from selected architects and engineers, conducting interviews of
the most qualified firms and making recommendations to the executive board.
I also directed the design team to create a structure that reflected the
owner's intent, managed the bid process for construction firms and
monitored all phases of the construction process. This involved conducting
project meetings, reviewing change orders, payment applications and project
schedules, processing submittals and RFIs, maintaining quality control and
verifying all close out documentation met the owner's criteria.
1998 - 2001
Tishman Construction, Las Vegas, NV
Sr. Project Manager assigned to the Desert Passage Retail Center developed
by the TrizecHahn Company. The Desert Passage was the retail development of
the new Aladdin Hotel and Casino Resort project in Las Vegas. Coordinated
the Aladdin Hotel and TrizecHahn groups in assisting with design
development, contractor selection, proposal review and contract
negotiation. The Desert Passage Retail Center includes 750,000 square feet
of retail space with approximately 150 stores and restaurants in a themed
environment. Also included in the retail portion of the project was a 10
story parking structure for 5,000 cars. Other responsibilities included
change order review and resolution, researching and responding to
contractor information requests and schedule review.
1997 - 1998

of three parking structures at Caesars Palace and the parking structure at

subcontractors, reviewed budgets, contracts, change orders and schedules. I
was also involved with the design and realignment of streets and roadways
in and around Caesars Palace and acted as the Caesars representative for
the Pedestrian Overpass Project at Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. These
projects involved coordinating and negotiating with the appropriate
government agencies as well as the other hotels involved with these
improvements.
