Nation’s second largest auto parts store publicly owned (AAP) and Fortune 500 company with

over 3500 stores in 40 states, with over $4.6 Billion in annual sales.

Sr. Construction Manager - West

Responsible for all construction activities in the Southwestern United States managing two

project managers and project administrator. Responsible for successfully opening of 64 new

locations including 16 ground-up projects and 48 remodels of existing spaces.

Provide initial cost estimate, Scope of Work and Final Budget to REC.

Direct Due Diligence and Entitlement process.

Direct architects, engineers, contractors and project managers.

Team leader for development and implementation of Furnished-By-Owner initiative

resulting development cost savings of $ 17,000 on a per store basis.

CEC Entertainment, Irving, Texas 2006

Directed Construction Department to opening 14 new store locations and 17 major

remodel/expansions.

Pier 1 Imports, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas

Project Manager

Responsible for construction of 120 Pier 1 stores in Central and W estern United States and in

Canada.

Reviewed project progress and Land Lord compliance to Construction Program

Documents as stipulated in the Lease Agreement.

Provided feedback and coordination with Architectural, Leasing, Fixture and Facilities

teams to correct plan errors or omissions.

Jacobson’s Stores Inc., Jackson, Michigan 2000 – 2001

Jacobson’s Stores was130-year-old upscale department store chain consisting of 22 stores in

Michigan and Florida. Jacobson’s filed for bankruptcy and liquidated in January of 2002.

Directed new store construction and capital improvement activities.

Managed the construction of a new $13M, 80,000 s.f. 2 -story mall anchor store.

Delivered the project to a successful 2000 holiday season opening on schedule.

McDonald’s Corporation, Minneapolis Region, Bloomington, Minnesota 1996 – 2000

Project Manager

Managed construction activities in the Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, Eastern Iowa and

Northwest Illinois. Project budgets ranged from $80,000 to $850,000, and included 15

new and rebuilt restaurants and 1 Play Land addition.

Provided guidance to Real Estate in site evaluation, cost, entitlement and due diligence

process.

1993 –1996

Northstar Restaurants, Inc Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Construction Manager

Responsible for all construction related activities for Boston Market Restaurants in Nebraska,

Iowa, South Dakota, Western Illinois and Southern Minnesota.

freestanding Boston Market restaurants

Wendy’s International, Inc., Chicago Division, Naperville, Illinois 1991 – 1993

Responsible for all construction related activities for Wendy’s Restaurants in the greater

Chicago area.

Managed construction of 8 new restaurants, 3 dining room additions and more than 100

remodels in the greater Chicago area.
