Extensive experience providing assessment,

programming, conceptual and schematic design, design

development, contract documents, budget estimates, bid

phase services, contract administration and quality

assurance services in the field of architecture. Expertise

includes coordination of inter-disciplined teams to provide

site planning, landscape design, new and existing building

design, adaptive re-use, restoration and interior space

planning or up-fit including plumbing, mechanical, and

electrical services. Primary strengths include a

comprehensive understanding of construction and building

systems along with the ability to manage and coordinate

the design production and quality assurance phases of

complex project types. Project types have included

pharmaceutical, hospital, medical, industrial, commercial,

retail, office, library, institutional, religious, Pre- K through

12 and higher education, residential and office warehouse.

Private sector experience includes the design and preparation of documents for hospital and medical,

retail/commercial, office/business, education/assembly, institutional, residential and industrial projects.

Pharmaceutical projects have included repairs at Glaxo Smith Kline’s RTP campus. Projects have included new

roof installations at multiple buildings, redesign of two reception centers, parking deck repairs, redesign of office

space, oversight of a photovoltaic solar system design and installation, replacement of 400 feet of steam

distribution piping, replacement of HVAC equipment, etc. Hospital projects have included the Jenkins Annex at

Maria Parham Hospital, the Franklin County Health Department, Franklin Regional Medical Center renovations

along with medical office projects for surgeons and general practitioners. Commercial experience includes retail

centers including Olde Raleigh Village, Center 54 and 519 Capital Boulevard. In t he public sector, Responsibilities

have included the designing and management of multiple projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and

Virginia. Recent projects have included the Butner Public Safety Building, the North Carolina Department of

Agriculture Plant Industry Building renovation, The Curry Building renovation, the Franklin County Human Services

Building, and the Darlington Admin Complex renovation.
