Description: The Direct Access Trading system allows stock traders to trade directly with
market specialists, rather than trading through stock brokers. The transactions were executed in a
fraction of a second and the confirmations instantly displayed on the trader’s computer screen.
The main purpose of the project was to transfer data from the Mainframe (legacy database) to a
SQL database. Data on the old system was mapped to the new system providing a design for data
